My research expertise is in the field of Geographic Information Sciences (GIS), developing several research lines, such as studies on the carrying capacity of the coastal environment from the perspective of tourism, focusing on the methodological aspects (spatial indicators supported by GIS). A second research line focuses on the dune hydrogeomorphology in collaboration with the University of La Plata in Argentina. And a third line involves around climate change and tourism in areas of the Caribbean. I’m currently a lecturer at the Universidad Pablo de Olavide of Seville, and I’m a member of the chartered research group “Coastal Environments (RNM911)”. My research has been published in prestigious scientific journals, such as Tourism Management or the Journal of Coastal Research.
